BWF Group has acquired Hey-Sign GmbH. Hey-Sign, based in Meerbusch, North Rhine-Westphalia, has been producing and selling accessories, furniture, and decorative elements for table settings since 1999 and is active in the field of interior design. The company has 32 employees and always relies on 100% wool quality. Through modern and timeless design as well as the consistent development of the brand name Hey-Sign, the company has made a name for itself on the national and international market as a reliable partner with outstandingly designed products and is regarded as a trendsetter who has made the traditional wool felt fit for the future with their unique use of color and shape. The BWF Feltec division, which has existed for over 123 years, consistently focuses on new applications in the fields of interior design, fashion and acoustics. The acquisition strengthens the division’s globally leading role in the production of 100% wool felts. “Hey-Sign GmbH is an ideal addition for us. Like us, the company has been dedicated to the fascination of wool felt since its foundation. We see great growth opportunities for the fine wool felt product in the area of interior design and lifestyle. The design competence of HEY-SIGN will bring us further as a group. We have been maintaining close partnership and cooperation with Mr. Hey and Mrs. Ehmanns for years. With this step, the couple was also able to settle their succession in the interests of the company. With this acquisition, we are strengthening both Hey-Sign and the BWF Group,” says Maximilian Offermann, Member of the Management Board.
